Weather Team?

I know this is probably an awkward question, but exactly how DOES one go about building a weather team? Would this be a logical thing to do in OU or should you stick just to the lower tiers? And if you DO think it's possible in OU, would hail/sandstorm be the only weather type to stick to, or would sunny day be viable as well?

Errrr, whenever I try building weather teams, I usually try to balance about 4 pokemon who will benefit from/set up the weather effect with two others who can increase my type coverage and/or switch in against threats. For example, in my latest Sunny Day team, I have a Roserade, Torterra, Leafeon and Houndoom coupled with a Suicune and an Empoleon. It works fine, I guess, mostly since I use weird strategies. xD

The one thing with that team is that sometimes Empoleon and Suicune get nerfed because their water attacks are lowered (from Sunny Day). However, if I see a fire type I usually just switch to Houndoom, since he has Flash Fire anyways (and Flash Fire + Sunny Day + STAB Flamethrower = Kickass).

Sandstorm based stall used to do well enough in OU, I haven't paid attention in long enough to know if it still can.
