Is Platinum Broken...?

I'm REALLY worried... I mean... Fuck.

For one, Rotom's getting a bunch of different forms with no particular purpose, it seems...
Hypnosis is losing 10% accuracy, dropping it to 60%...
It seems like literally EVERYTHING is gonna learn Outrage and Superpower, wtf...
It also seems like, once again, literally EVERYTHING is gonna learn Ice Punch.
Bibarel with Curse: because Defense Curl, Amnesia, and Charge Beam just weren't enough /sarcasm.
... I'm hearing rumors of a Pure Power Regigigigigigigas.... Why.
And then... Serene Grace Sky Forme Shaymin... If it's not Uber, I quit Pokemon.

And that's just what I've heard today and yesterday. What the fuck, this worries me... Salamence gets Outrage, Dragonite becomes BL. Smogon's laughing at us, because Garchomp being Uber isn't really going to make a difference with Salamence getting improvements. Pokemon are getting attacks they will never use, too, like Venusaur... It's getting Outrage lawl. Also, from what I've heard from Zack, there's going to be an AQUA JET TUTOR. Fuck the what... God, I'm really frightened for Pokemanz. It just seems like so much is going to change. Really, it looks like all the changes they're making is to compensate for Garchomp, but it doesn't really matter since Garchomp's Uber now.

Well, I can say one thing... Steel types are going to become VERY popular, what with all the Ice Punch and Outrage users there's gonna be... Bronzong, Metagross, and Jirachi are going to all be more OU than ever, thanks to their Ice and Dragon resistances.

If you ask me... Nintendo phails again... *rocks back and forth with anxiety over what's to come*

Well, at least they made the Eeveelution sprites epic win this time. =D

Aqua Jet isn't happening.


But if steel types get popular, GSC's "RANDOM FIRE BLAST" will be back.

Also, Hypnosis losing accuracy helps against Gengar..

I'm not terribly worried. Flygon can replace G-chomp on some teams due to having the same typing and now getting Outrage.

Remember before D/P when everyone claimed Rhyperior would "break" the metagame and should be Uber? And that Electivire would be on every team?

By the way, Sky Forme Shaymin isn't nearly as horrible as people are making it out to be IMO. No good stat boosting moves, weakness to stealth rock, countered easily by Regice and Registeel, etc. etc.

I think everyone should just calm down and wait to see what happens. The metagame will settle down, it always does. If anything proves to be broken, it'll be banned in time. Instead of focusing on what's "broken", why not look at some of the neat improvements that many UUs and BLs got? =) I'm personally excited about Outrage Flygon and Superpower Absol. Not to mention things like Aqua Jet Golduck, Leaf Blade Victreebell, and Magnet Rise Luxray.

Oh yeah, need to add one more thing. Outrage is useless on anything without STAB. There's a reason we never see Outrage T-Tar/Charizard.

Golduck shouldn't learn that without Azumarill being able to get it with Belly Drum.

Yeah, except Golduck doesn't have Huge Power.
Azumarill doesn't NEED Belly Drum and Aqua Jet together, because Aqua Jet rapes just fine on its own. STAB and Huge Power is enough.

Meh, the game can't get any more broken then it is now, so lets see what happens.

The 5 forms all kind suck, so don't be so worryed.

I see 50/65/107/105/107/86 as purty good.

Close to Spiritomb with more special attack/speed, less attack and a pursuit weakness, really.

Fucking Nintendo and their awful way of handling Rotom forms

They look ghay, and the stat base's should not all be the same is what i'm thinking.

Well, go talk to Nintendo.

They look to be the same thing. just Rotom with an extra attack, so I'm fine with the stats.

But Rotom has a sad backstory. He was Pluto's only friend, and Pluto named him then one day he shocked him and ran away. Then Pluto found him controlling a toy of his, and because his electricity was being controlled he could finally hug him ~<3

It's not like the punches are THAT strong...they have like 75 base power or something. Besides, plenty of Pokemon have better attack.

aw. what a sickeningly sweet back story rotom has. I mean, the stats might not be great but i think Rotoms become the new lolmon. The formes images are lulzy and pretty awesome, and the typing make things interesting, even if it is a bit strange :/
