Just started playing Pokemon again

Geeze, I hate levelling.

All my boyfriend has been doing lately is EV training, and it looks way boring. ;_;

It is, believe me D=

So not looking forward to it.

I didn't get all too far before I sold my last copy, so I hadn't even started it yet.

I'm looking forward to having a great team, though. ^-^

I just started again and almost put it straight back down after I remembered what a bore EV training and breeding were. Fortunately, I'd left off with the breeding already done (which wasn't easy at all, several awkward egg moves) so its only half the job really.

Plus I finally decided on my favourite pokemon.

Leafon?

Well, i still say hell to ev training, and i A) don't do it or B) get others to do it for me.

Theres a c, but as i'm not a woman i can't do that.

But still, your a pokemon fan if you whore yourself for that.

EV training is okay.

But Leafeon is a cool pokyman.

Yep, just find the right place to do it, with pokevirus and macho brace, and it only takes an hours.

Go eving/leafen is a beast.

Yeah, EV training sucks >_<. Better than IV breeding, though.

With Pokerus, vitamins, and the power items/macho brace it isn't actually THAT bad.

I doubt you'd have the patience :p. But it's basically breeding certain Pokemon so you end up with a baby with good IVs in certain stats. If you're truly interested, I could probably find you an article.

Easiest way to check the IVs of a Pokemon is to enter a level 100 battle and put the Pokemon's level 100 stats into an IV calculator like this: http://serebii.net/games/iv-calcdp.shtml . Make sure you put in the correct nature too. If the Pokemon has been EV trained then you need to know the exact EVs. It's usually best to check a Pokemon when they don't have any EVs yet.
