It's going to take a lot of guts to vote for McCain, mainly because if he dies in office, America is pretty fucked. Palin, on top of being a women, and thusly prone to illogical emotions until menopause, will tear apart our once secular government with her rampant love of baby jesus.

Think about it, McCain is fairly moderate on issues like homosexuality, abortion, energy conservation, but Palin is farrrrrrr right. If McCain were to get a two term presidency, there is a very real possibility he'll die before his term ends, and with some of the left leaning supreme court members getting up there in age, Palin would quite obviously get in some like minded people to replace them if they were to also die/retire, ie staunch conservatives. Hello Roe v Wade being overturned, hello same sex marriage being banned outright, hello creationism being taught as being just as plausible as evolution, and hello denying global warming and relying solely on fossil fuels.

And averting the 21st century version of the Crusades all depends on a guy who is almost 80s health? No thanks, I'd rather exist in mediocrity with the young black guy who has the seasoned old white guy backing him.

Maybe, but the Supreme Court almost never overturns old decisions.

The Supreme Court also happens to never overturn old decisions because they tend to agree enough on a subject to never have to look at it again. Abortion though is one the hard right wants bad, the moment there's a very apparent red majority on the Supreme Court, we'll see abortion illegal.

Actually, we've own a deposit of oil right below Canada that could keep us going comfortably for about a hundred years. Before, no one wanted to use it because it's actually mixed in with a bunch of gravel and sediment, so they need to scoop up EVERYTHING, and boil it to separate the oil. It was cheaper just to get it straight out of the ground like they've been doing with the oil pumps.

NOW, however, it's actually more cost efficient to just boil the oil out of all that sediment. All the sediment settles at the bottom, all the oil rises to the top, and we're good.

lower class doesn't need tax breaks-they don't have homes to be taxed on.

Give tax breaks to the middle class, and make more jobs, so that lower class gets bigger, not smaller.
