I'm not sure how many of you actually read the rules ( :p ) but if you did you might have noticed them mention "Shuten event Pokemon". What are these? Special Pokemon given out with moves they might not normally get. These Pokemon are ONLY for use here. They are perfectly legal to use in tournaments and dojo challenges but you should probably find out if they're ok in a casual match before using them. Once again, THEY SHOULDN'T BE USED OUTSIDE OF THE SITE. They will not work in PBR random matches nor can they be traded through the GTS.
The purpose? To add a little twist to the current metagame, to make more Pokemon usable (especially UU/NUs or BLs that are simply out-classed), and to encourage new and creative strategies.
This thread is for discussion of these Pokemon...make suggestions, talk about possible movesets and strategies for them, and vote on what the first one given out should be. Also discuss whether you feel it's fair that UU Pokemon with special moves should be allowed at the UU Dojo or not (technically an UU could start to see so much use because of it's new move that it becomes over-centralizing). I personally feel we should start off by not banning anything but if you guys think the UU Dojo should completely ban these Pokemon then post here (with a well-written argument, please).
I will be deleting more spam-ish posts as well as stupid things like "give garchomp dragon dance and overheat!". If you suggest an event Pokemon, have a reason for suggesting it. Although the move should be helpful to the Pokemon in some way, it shouldn't be completely broken (Skill Swap Slakoth) nor should it be something that makes no sense (I'm not giving Luvdisc Draco Meteor. Sorry, Ryu.)
Don't suggest or vote for a Pokemon that you'd never even use yourself o_0. Because what's the point of that?
P.S. I'm much more likely to accept suggestions for Pokemon that see little or no use currently.
