Favorite Non-Pokemon Series

What game series does everyone here play besides Pokemon?

I'm a big fan of the Fire Emblem series <3. I also love Golden Sun, Final Fantasy (especially Tactics), Breath of Fire, Dragon Quest, Legend of Stafy (I'll never call it "Starfi", neeeveeer), Banjo and Kazooie, the old Crash Bandicoot games, Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros., Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Disgaea. I'm pretty sure those are all of the series I play consistently.

I used to also play Dance Dance Revolution on a competetive level <--- Little known fact about Sami.

Final Fantasy! lol. but i play Legend Of Zelda, Tekken, Diablo, Starcraft, Age of Empires/mythology, hmm....what other ones...guitar hero sorta competetively. Oh! and Metroid of course!!! Castlevania!!! eh guess thats it...

Klonoa, Mother, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Golden Sun, Panel de Pon/Puzzle League, Super Smash Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, Paper Mario and the other Mario RPG series, Soul Calibur (never played Soul Edge...), Banjo-Kazooie, some of the Zelda games (especially LttP and MM), Fire Emblem, Kirby, Chrono and Star Fox.

Other individual games I enjoy are The World Ends with You (but you should know that already) and Skies of Arcadia.

I wish there was a new, Wi-fi enabled Panel de Pon. Then I could play it competitively; I'm frickin' awesome at that game.

Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Street Fighter, Guilty Gear, Super Smash Bros., Metal Gear Solid, Chrono, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Parasite Eve, and many others I can't really think of right now, I'm sure.

In fact, I've recently started a new file on Final Fantasy VIII- playing through on a NORMAL file for once, rather than a challenge. Ironically, it's harder played regularly. Trying to get through it in a speedy fashion, though, so not Drawing much magic to junction could be what's making it difficult...

I used to play the Soul Calibur series pretty well (mainly Nightmare/Siegfried), but I never really have anyone to play with, and when I DO find someone to play with, they tend to get bored with gettin' whooped pretty quick... It's one of the few fighting games I'm actually good at. Traded my copies in recently to pick up the newest Guilty Gear, which is epic cool- the rebirth of 2-D fighting games!

I REALLY want to see a remake for Parasite Eve. It was easily one of my favorite Squenix games of all time. The story, the gameplay, the music- it was all absolutely awesome. As such, I figure it deserves a remake. There's a third game coming out for PSP, but needless to say, I won't be getting it for lack of a PSP...

Someone's doing a "revisioning" (not a remake) of the first Silent Hill. They've removed combat entirely, and sorta made it into Haunting Ground- just evade enemies.

I dunno what else to say right now. XD

Hmmm, well, mostly what people have already said...Zelda, Super Smash Bros, Final Fantasy, Sonic, Metroid (which I'm surprised no one else has mentioned), Harvest Moon, a handful of Mario games (like Mario and Luigi and Mario Party), Megaman, Animal Crossing, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (which doesn't count as actual pokemon), Banjo-Kazooie and Dragon Quest (specifically Dragon Quest Monsters). I've also been looking into other game series lately, like Castlevania.

XD I used to basically live in the arcade. My friend and I were often allowed to play for free at night because we knew the guy who worked there and we were female.

hmmm well i've mostly shifted to xbox so besides legend of zelda and mario games my favorite series are Halo,CoD,Tekken,soul calibur,Mortal kombat,and Assasins creed(since theirs two i can call it a series now yay )

Well, like the quote said, I mainly ran Nightmare in 2 and Siegfried in 3. I haven't played 4 yet, but it'll probably be Siegfried again. XD

Good thing I'm not a noob then...been playing SC2 for almost six years now. Not consistently, but yeah, I'm no noob.

And spamming his vertical only works against people who suck. :\

Well, from what I've seen, I really want to try out the Persona series. Persona 4 is supposedly one of the best RPGs on the PlayStation 2.

Tales, Banjo-Kazooie, Disgaea, Golden Sun.

That's about it.
