    Granbull Sprite Empty Granbull Sprite

    Granbull Sprite GranbullSprite6---Granbull Sprite Dpmfa210

    Working on a custom Granbull sprite- this one's from SCRATCH, but the pose is inspired from actually seeing Granbull go on all fours at some point in the anime... It was suddenly adorable then. o_o;;

    This is the first draft. Suggestions on what to do? I'd like more highlights...

    Granbull Sprite GranbullSprite7

    You can barely see the updates, but they're there... I think it looks a tad bit better.

    Wow, Shine's becoming a great spriter maybe even better than Ryu...

    The back paw looks disjointed, or something else, I don't know it just looks wrong.

    Ryu can probably make more elaborate sprites on a larger scale, though, since he's generally more experienced... He's just too lazy to really TRY, so his sprites never really come out as good as they COULD be...

    And yeah, that back leg probably needs to be straightened out a little bit. I'll call that his fag-leg till then, lulz.

    Should you shade the back leg a bit too?

    Only thing I can see wrong with it is that the outlines are kind of inconsistent; the outlines are dark on the head and lighter for the legs, which makes it look odd.

    It's actually the same color all around for the outline, cause I'm a nub and not sure how to make a more professional looking outline- it just looks more solid around the head because of that highlight in contrast with it.

    The back looks the same to me, and the front doesn't seem any darker...

    Second one looks more like a GSC sprite because it's so solid. The first one looks closer to a D/P sprite- smoother, not as blocky.

    Not without my permission you can't. >>

    Also, black outlines get sucked up into black backgrounds, and really sorta "damages" the sprite, makin' it look worse... A colored outline doesn't get absorbed as easily into the color it's set on, so yeah.

    Granbull Sprite GranbullSprite7-3---Granbull Sprite Dpmfa210

    I think that's finished.
