New OU List!

Empoleon, Flygon, and Rhyperior have been added.

Gallade is now BL.

Discuss.

I've been expecting those three to make it since the lack of Garchomp, and the sudden rise in activity of Empoleon. I've never seen many people use Gallade anyways. Ah well I guess BL is where the Ralts family will remain forever.

Gallade being borderline was something I saw coming from a mile away though.

The OU list changes every month.

Why didn't you make this when MILOTIC sank to BL.

That's more surprising than all of this to me.

Considering Rhydon was OU for two generations, and Rhyperior is an amazingly better Rhydon, and the physical/special split, Rhyperior makes sense as an OU....

Empoleon makes sense, I think it's gone up due to its ability to wall Flygon, and set up on it.

Flygon getting Outrage makes it a "Duh"

Also, Empoleon typeing makes it weak to few and strong to many, as well as kinda good stats.

I find the poll question weird. How can you "approve" of an OU list when it's based on usage I'm not sure :p.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NEW OU LIST AND CHANGES?

I think that they represent the current metagame shifts with platinum's release, and perhaps even a possible steadying of the OU list.

I could really care less about OU right now, but I can't say that I'm really surprised, with new moves being available in Platinum and all...

Flygon was pretty much, as Oracle expressed, obvious because it gets Outrage.

I always thought that, because of its special typing, Empoleon would find its way into OU somehow...

I'm pretty much in accord with Oracle's past posts =P

I dont think OU necessarily means good... just that lots of people use them...

I've used Rhyperior with an okay track record.

I don't know why you'd use him for walling, considering he's just a bulky sweeper who can roar or set up SR if really needed. (no reliable recovery?)

I've tried him like that as well, one of the worst OUs I've ever used XD

Rhyperior hasn't worked out for me either.

I actually like Rhyperior and the others that have joined OU. Ive used Rhyperior in Sandstorm teams before and used him just like how the Popular Pauper said, works okay for me.

Here is proof that Shade and Sphinx aren't the same, as they are disagreeing on Rhyperior.

I love it-It's abilty kicks ass, and, It's got a HUGE DEF/ATT.

Lawl, it's ability doesn't help against Surf. Everytime it's usually a 1-2HKO from something with good Sp.Atk. Quadruple weakness' suck.

I know, SURF IT A BITCH.

Switch out to Vaporion when surf comes out, and win follows.
