Really dodged a bullet this election, most people don't even know. With McCain being on the senate since the trial of fucking Jesus, on top of both his father and grandfather dying of heart complications, if he went in office it's highly likely he would not survive the full term. Being the figurehead for the most powerful nation in the world is obviously taxing on the mind and body, stress plus old age plus a history with heart trouble is a fucking stupid choice, I don't know what the Republicans were thinking.

And then we would be stuck with fucking eskimo Sarah Palin? No thanks, we went through eight years of a batshit insane fundie Christian who said the war was a crusade, we don't need the uterus and ovaries version that bleeds every month for a week taking his place. Wait, I take that back, she's even worse than what Bush could ever be, despite what seems to be his best efforts this last term to prove me wrong. Bush may have shown the signs of being nothing more than an unknowing marionette for the government going on behind the scenes, but Palin would just willingly hand the strings over with a smile on her face. We can play house with her in 2012, considering the abysmal economy, war that even the most hardened conservatives wishing never happened, and general distrust of the Republican party at large, we need someone who has more than two neurons firing off in their skull. And I'm sorry, but the Republicans choice, a walking corpse and hockey mom is just slightly less desirable than Eloquent Speaking Chocolate Face #76.

I don't think McCain would've been horrible. I got a lot of respect for him after hislast speech.
But Sarah Palin is just a no-no.
