Basic Challenger Requirements:
-You must have a trainer card in your signature at all times with your Friend Code on it. http://www.mapletowers.com/trainercards/ugenerator.php or http://www.pokecharms.com is where you can make one.

-Your team may NOT have any Ubers except for in the Uber Dojo. Pokemon considered Uber: Mewtwo, Mew, Wobbuffet, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all forms), Dialga, Palkia, Manaphy, Giratina (both forms), Darkrai, Shaymin-S, Arceus, Garchomp
-Many dojos have their own set of unique rules in the appropriate forum. READ THEM.
-You will earn 5000 yen for beating the sensei of that dojo. Exact amount may change.
-You must defeat at least one gakusei per dojo in order to complete it. You will earn 1000 yen for defeating them.
Special Dojo Gakusei (Student) Requirements:
-You may have two teams; one for challenging dojos and one for defending your own dojo. Your current dojo team should be visible somewhere, whether it's in your signature or your challenge thread.
-Your dojo team must follow the dojo rules.
-You must get the permission of the dojo's sensei (leader) to join.
-You will earn 500 yen for each win you get against a challenger. Exact amount may change and this only counts for battles against EACH challenger. This means that you won't get additional wins for defeating challengers more than once.
Special Dojo Sensei (Leader) Requirements:
-You may have two teams; one for challenging dojos and one for your own dojo.
-Your dojo team must follow the rules of your dojo.
-You must be able to accept challenges on a regular basis. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your position.
-You should not change your team constantly.
-You will earn 1000 yen for each win you get against EACH challenger. This means that you won't get additional wins for defeating challengers more than once. Subject to change.
Clauses:
The following clauses are always in effect unless stated otherwise:
-Uber Clause: No Ubers, see above.
-OHKO Clause: OHKO moves (Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold, and Guillotine) are banned.
-Evasion Clause: Evasion-boosting moves (Double Team and Minimize) are banned.
-Self-KO Clause: You may not KO your last Pokemon to cause a draw. An example would be using Explosion on your last Pokemon to knock out your opponent's last Pokemon.
-Sleep Clause: You may not put more than one of your opponent's Pokemon to sleep at a time. Rest doesn't count.
-Species Clause: You may not use more than one of the same Pokemon on your team.
-Soul Dew Clause: You may not use the item Soul Dew.
About Hacking:
-No perfect/illegal hacks are allowed. This includes Pokemon with illegal stats/moves. Pokemon hacked to have 31's across the board are also ILLEGAL. It doesn't matter how "legit" they are otherwise.
-An exception to the illegal moves rule are the special Shuten Dojo Event Pokemon.
