Captain Falcon was modeled after the stereotypical American comic book heroes like Superman, Captain America(Hence the CAPTAIN), and Iron Man. Hell, the ridiculously HUEG upper body is proof of that, look at Japanese heroes in anime, all androgynous and like 120 lbs. So technically he IS pretty American, but similar to what Poss put, he's just outsourced Americanism. >_>
