College is okay so far...

It's not super busy or difficult or anything like that (yet).

My first assignment for character design is to design a character (duh). Coincidentally, this happens to be a bad day for art for me. :\

General Ed is the only pain. I did not spend over half of my existence on this planet doing general education just so I could do more of it in college.

General Ed? What, like, academics?

You know, all the stuff that isn't in your major. Like for example, my major is Cognitive Psychology, so things like history and to a certain extent math are pretty useless for my job. Regardless though, you are still required to take a certain amount of units, two years if you do it the normal length, of math, english, history, etc., even if you are in a major that doesn't utilize any of those. That's General Education, exactly like elementary school, middle school, and high school, only now you get to pay $1000 a semester for it rather than it being supplied to you for free.

I've just finished my GE, so now it's finally going into what college is really about, every course being about my major in some way, shit I will actually use in the work world, rather than finding x or knowing how East Asian trade affected medieval Europe.

That's good to hear. The first couple days of something new shouldn't be too difficult (in most cases). They help you enter into a "normal" or get into the cycle.
