Why is there stuff for Chrismas up before thanksgiving is over?

Christmas stuff is up before Thanksgiving because Thanksgiving isn't really a decoration demanding Holiday.

Well, they had it up while it was halloween...so....ya, it's gay.

They probably had a small section in the back of the store set up, so it could later much more easily be moved to the featured position, instead of lugging it all around.

I'm more mad that I can't call Christmas by its name. Fuck, if someone like me is fine with calling it Christmas vacation over winter vacation, or Merry Christmas over Happy Holidays, the jews should be fine with it too.

I hate the holidays... espacially christmas and thanksgiving.

Fail. My family used to do that, grandparents would come down from Oregon, uncles and shit from Massachusetts, fuck that. Seems they finally lost interest like three years ago and we just eat in silence, drink booze, and watch the football game, I love Thanksgiving now.

I like Thanksigving.

We just make a huge meal and ignore each other the rest of the day.

For me it's a guaranteed time that I can eat until I puke, and I fucking love pumpkin pie.

When I still lived in Tucson, we would go to my grandmother's house to celebrate Thanksgiving, and my cousins would come down from San Antonio to visit for a week or so. It was my favorite holiday of the year just because I got to see them, and there was so much going on. Great food, too.

Now that we're in Texas, I don't get to go on Thanksgiving. :\
