Well, I made a team involving some of my favorite Pokemon. It's fun.
Pichu @Focus Sash
-Fake Out
-Thunderwave
-Counter
-Seismic Toss
Static, Hasty
252 HP, 252 Spd, 6 Sp.Def
... It's a Pichu. If you check the Shoddy logs, you'll see it owned a Gallade, and I laughed. XD;
It's just cute, and I love it, so it's there. His name is Zale.
Oh, and Hasty is there so Counter will deal more. Even if he doesn't get in a Counter, he still gets in T-Wave at some point, oddly enough. XD
Sunflora @Leftovers
-Leech Seed
-Hidden Power Fire
-Protect
-Substitute
Chlorophyll, Bold
252 Def, 252 Sp.Def, 6 HP
UPDATED SET. Okay, I know I sorta broke my own code here of always maxing HP first thing on Pokemon like this, but dammit, it's working out pretty well. I'm sure I'd be better off cutting some Sp.Def for more HP, but it's working out very well so far, considering all. I mean, it took an Overheat from an Oven Rotom a little earlier. That's not bad if you ask me. Leech Seed saved my ass on several occasions, too. It doesn't work in specific situations... I pretty much switch it in on anything that looks like it could use a good Leech Seed, like anything that already has a Burn on it or Toxic. Very nice.
Porygon Z @Leftovers
-Substitute
-Return
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
Adaptability, Hasty
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Sp.Atk
MIXER PZ. I never used to be a big fan of Porygon Z, but it looks silly, and after trying it for a while, it's probably one of my all time favorite Pokemon EVER. Makes me happy. 2HKO's Blissey, doesn't care about T-Wave or Toxic, since it's faster.
It still has 306 Sp.Atk with only 6 points invested in Sp.Atk, and that's good enough if you ask me. BoltBeam is awesome coverage.
Hariyama @Flame Orb
-Fake Out
-Cross Chop
-Payback
-Bullet Punch
Guts, Adamant
252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 Def
Apparently, according to Zack, this is a strange set, but it works out very well. It's kind of a big "fuck you Heatran" thing too, actually... It can take a hit and come back with Cross Chop happily enough. It can take a Gengar's Shadow Ball, too, and OHKO with Payback. OHKO's Gengar switch ins with Payback, too. I like Hariyama. I think I'll name him E. Honda. >>;
Arcanine @Leftovers
-Hidden Power Ground
-Fire Blast
-WillOWisp
-Roar
Intimidate, Bold
240 HP, 168 Def, 28 Sp.Atk, 72 Spd
I admit, this is a Smogon set, but I've never seen anyone actually USE it, and it's incredible. I've never seen a Fire type take EQs like this Arcanine does, thanks to Intimidate, and it doesn't mind Heatran, really. Even with so little Sp.Atk investment, it deals a good bit of damage. Huzzah Arcanine!
Noctowl @Leftovers
-Roost
-Toxic
-Heat Wave
-Reflect
Insomnia, Calm
252 HP, 252 Sp.Def, 6 Sp.Atk
I've ALWAYS loved Noctowl. Always. Insomnia makes it own, period... It's a nice Toxistaller, and even with so little Sp.Atk investment, it OHKO's Scizor, and does a number on other things. Reflect gives it a pretty ridiculous bit of survivability. It's essentially my special wall, but it does everything I need it to and more.
Yay!
