PS3 v. 360

This is pretty much the ultimate question, but I'd don't need a lot of drama. I'd just like opinions and recommendations.

Anyway, point is, Christmas and all that jazz is coming up. Chances are slim, but if I'm lucky, I'll be able to get either a PS3 or a 360.

Now, I'm a hardcore Playstation fan. I've never been big into XBOX, but they DO have one thing I want... Fable II. It looks incredible, and I really wanna play it, but besides that, the only thing XBOX really has to offer right now is shooters, mostly first person. I DESPISE first person view, I'll have you know. The other thing that 360's got me lookin' at, though, is all those games that used to be PS3 exclusive, but are now on the 360. Final Fantasy XIII and all its spin-offs that I can't even keep track of will be on the 360. Silent Hill V is on the 360. Metal Gear Solid 4 is on there. The 360 itself is also cheaper than a WII now, and that's saying something. I'm not much for online games, but I won't knock out the fact that the 360 DOES have a price on XBOXLive, where as PS3's online service is free.

I'll also mention that I don't know where Kingdom Hearts is gonna go. If it's PS3 exclusive, I'll be in trouble. There's also the fact that my friend has offered to let me borrow his 360 before, so maybe I could just get Fable II and borrow his to play it.

Another thing I could look at, is that considering the PS3 is more expensive, I could ask for that for Christmas, and then just save up to buy myself a 360 later or something, y'know? So yeah.

Ideas? Suggestions and the likes?

Xbawks looks better right now, Imo.

More good looking RPG's. (they put the latest Tales installment on it. ;_; )

PS3 has Little Big Planet, therefore it wins.

But 360 has Eternal Sonata :<

Disgaea. Enough said. Just like the previous two, it's awesome. Plus everyone seems to of forgotten the underrated Zone of the Enders series, if it's not exclusive for Sony, Sony will without a doubt get the inevitable third chapter of the series.

If it's RPGs that your focus is on, the choice should be obvious. Sony was by far the leader of RPG games in the previous two console generations, why would they suddenly stop on their third term? The XBox will always have a strong focus on FPS, Sony RPG, and Nintendo...gimmicky vidjya gaemz?

I say the Wii.

However, i'ma saying go with the 360, as Fable two looks better then an orgy of hot blone 16 year old girls.

360 - Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Assassain's Creed (which can be quite fun.)

And both systems will have The Last Remnant.

Personally, I think the PS3 is a waste of space.

Virtually no decent exclusive games, and those it does have have better alternatives on other consoles. I'd say for a proper gamer, the choice is obvious. 360 has loads of great exclusive games, better online service and generally gives you more for better value.

Of course I'd always say get a Wii first for the best exclusive games, but then get a 360 (something I'll be doing soon also) so you get the best of what the Wii misses.

So, yeah. 360 is the better option by far in my opinion.

I dunno, I'd rather own a PS3 than be kicked in the nuts. :\ It hurts to be hit there...and then there's that stomachache that lasts for like half an hour after the initial nut-to-foot contact.

You can always sell a PS3. You can't sell an action, unfortunately.

Going to have to agree with Queer Eye for the Sage Guy, I don't know how you Brits do it, but here there is an unwritten rule that you do not attack the crotch of another man.
