Hey all... HALLOWEEN'S COMIN' UP!
What're we all planning to do? Anyone gonna Trick or Treat? I WOULD myself, but this is a horrible neighborhood for Halloween... We get the occasional freaks and geeks that really go all out, but I happen to live in the Bible belt, so most just turn out all the lights, clutch their crosses, and try to keep people like me from hanging them from a meat hook and gutting them.
I've been doing more silly costumes than serious lately, and I think this year I'll be evoking the lachrymose spirits of EMOKIDS. I've already started shopping for pieces of my costume, and I think I'll go with a black-blue-pink scheme. Also, I have an excuse to get this awesome shirt: http://www.threadless.com/product/114.html
Sick, right? I'm also gonna be getting some black and blue rubber bracelets, a bondage wrist band, fishnet arm stockings (ALWAYS wanted a really loose, long-sleeve fishnet shirt to wear under my T-Shirts, but I'll have to settle for some arm stockings, cause I can't find any...), and all sorts of other stuff. My boyfriend would kill me if I dyed my hair, so I think I'm just gonna do some comb-in color- blue and pink, maybe, since my hair's almost dark enough to be black, anyway. I'll also probably end up with black guyliner and pink eyeshadow, since my mom will be thrilled to play around with her Aromaleigh products, anyway. I think I'll stitch a broken heart to the sleeve of my shirt, too, or maybe just stick it on with a bunch of safety pins... I dunno if I'll go with tight jeans or a nice pair of bondage pants, but either way, I'll make emo fabulous... Might get a couple clip-on lip piercings.
WHAT'S EVERYONE ELSE DOING?
I'm lookin' at scar tutorials, because like any good BAAAAAAAAW-Boy, I have to occasionally look at my cuts and pretend I don't know anyone else is looking. There's a nifty one involving Rubber Cement. =O
