Majors/Future Majors

I'm just kinda curious...what are you guys majoring in/planning to major in? And if you have a degree already, what is it in?

I think a lot of you know this already but I'm majoring in Biology. I'm a bit torn between Ecology and Marine Biology but I know I definitely want to do something involving aquatics! My internship is studying Asian shore crabs and/or bog turtles (won't be starting until May but I'll know which project I'll be working on soon).

Any fellow science majors out there? XD

I'm majoring in Computer Science, and I start my programming classes next semester. I'm quite excited because I've been itching to do something outside of repetitive math classes and boring prerequisites. =\

Probably something like Earth Sciences with a minor in education.

nothing.... I feel as if school is a waste of time and money at this point. I got a AS in Graphic Design... biggest mistake ever(well second but whatever). spend 16+k for nothing, for something I cant even use...the only degrees that are usful nowdays are software programing and medical... other wise go to war...

Edit: but I would like to get in to Quantum Physics. That stuff is trippy...

An associate's in anything won't help much--you have to continue. The problem is that right now the job market is flooded with people who have an AS so you have to stand out further. I'm sorry to hear that, though! =/

Quantam Physics, huh? Not my cup of tea but interesting nonetheless! You should just transfer all your old elective/gen ed credits and switch over to a science degree. And then when you get really good at Physics, you can help me XD.

Quantum Physicist is more of a "MOM I WANA BE SUPER MAN WHEN I GROW
UP!!!!" thing ... its not really going to happen but it would be fun!

I like animation. And history.

I'm still not entirely sure what my major will be.

Meh, probably either Chemical or Biomedical Engineering....that's what I'm leaning toward.

My friend is going to school for biomedical engineering. Neat stuff, too bad I suck at math and chemistry :p. Or rather, I just dislike them and am unmotivated XD.

I hate math as well. Though I shoryuken Chem. across the Walmart parking lot. 102 average ftw

I liked chemistry back when it was just conversions and moles and crap ;_;. Now it's hard *whine*. I recently found out that I don't need quite as much chemistry as I thought, though, yay.

Math is pro, Chem sucks though.

I'm majoring in engineering. Aeronautics or aerospace if it gets that specific.

Why all the ragging on chemistry? T_T

Math is easy, lulz.

Execpt for goddarn representations of functions by power series. I get the concepts but the problems are always like....o_0 wtf.

Because chemistry is annoying and chemistry professors suck at teaching anything math-related -_-.

Oh, and I'm majoring in Communications, probably with a minor in History. FOR NOW.

Nothing, hence why it's a minor.

One of my reasons for studying it, I find religion interesting as well and am taking a religion course over the summer, hopefully.
