Ryu's Journey so far:
Ryu was initially sent on a mission to find Agent Green of the Pokemon Association; however, he got lost in a cave. After Stumbling in the Dark (c wat i did thar lulz) a bit, he managed to escape. He gathered his team of Salamence, Metagross, Roserade, Walrein, Blaziken, and Absol and headed off to Cinnabar Island after he heard of a large explosion. When he arrived, the laboratory had been blown in half and was on fire. Ryu journeyed inside and fought with a creature later identified as 'Mewtwo'. He rescued another trainer from the burning building, and collapsed outside. Mewtwo ran off, and Ryu was placed in the hospital. He woke up several hours later and took off on his Salamence towards Lavender Town, where he could ask Mr. Fuji if he knew where Green was. After learning that Mr. Fuji had been captured by Team Rocket, Ryu went up the Pokemon Tower to save him. He saved a trainer named Arc's life after Arc fell off the tower. Ryu and Arc battled their way through the Tower, rescuing Mr. Fuji and defeating two Rocket admins. However, reinforcements arrived, but Fuji was able to call on the Marowak Spirit to hold them off. Ryu and Arc went their separate ways, and Fuji was placed under Association protection.
Ryu then headed to Celadon, where he entered an abandoned Rocket base. He learned that Arc had wiped this base out, and headed to the new base at Cerulean. He managed to sneak in and team up with Arc once again. He also found Kurth trapped in a cell, an old friend of his and a fellow Agent. The trio then burst into Giovanni's room, and battled a clone of Mewtwo, who was a clone to begin with (Mewthree xD). Kurth ordered his Froslass to use Destiny Bond, and Ryu, Arc, Kurth, Giovanni, and Mewthree were sent to the Intermediate Dimension. Arc disappeared shortly thereafter, and Ryu was sent into a one-on-one battle with Giovanni, revealing that Giovanni was actually Ryu's uncle. Ryu defeats and kills Giovanni, and is transported back to Kurth and later Arc, and the three manage to defeat Mewthree by Arc's Clefairy getting Guard Swap from Metronome, and Ryu and Arc's Salamence and Dragonite both use Draco Meteor. Mewthree disintegrates, and the Intermediate Dimension collapses. Ryu, Arc, and Kurth wake up in the ruins of the Cerulean HQ, and it is revealed that a year has passed in the real world. Arc decides to go to Hoenn, Kurth decides to go back to the Association, and Ryu decides to take some time off in Sinnoh.
Of course, nothing ever goes well for Ryu...

Ryu got off his Salamence above Hearthome City. He had managed to get some vacation time, after the initial shock that he and Kurth were still alive after a year. It had taken a bit of convincing, but Ryu decided on Sinnoh and Kurth on Hoenn. They said good-bye, and Ryu left on Salamence. He had decided to spend the night in Hearthome City, as it apparently had great hotels...according to Lance, anyway.
Ryu dismounted, and walked into the hotel. It was raining today, so Ryu decided to explore Mt. Coronet. He bought an umbrella, made some Pokemon switches, and flew to the entrance of Mt. Coronet. As he walked in, he tripped over an odd object. Ryu picked it up. It was stone, but was very cool to the touch and very light. It had a purple-ish tint, and had odd ancient text written on the front of it. Ryu shrugged, placed it in his bag, and head further into the cavern...
