WHO'S WITH ME!?

I can't believe how dead this place is... It 's actually quite depressing

But, what's stopping us from revamping the site, get it feeling like it was back in the day!

With the immediate releases of Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver on the horizon, we could take advantage of this and make it a place where people can come and chat about the games and battle, just like it was on pokewifi

Okay I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea *cough ryu* but I think I think this is a great oppertunity for Sage & Sasami and everyone else that's on the site to attract new members and make it feel like home again- for instance we could have a Lugia & Ho-oh skin and call the site 'The Tin Tower' or something, start a fresh

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that idea out there because I really liked chatting with all you guys and I think this could really help the site and after all the hard work Sage and Sasami has put into this place, we shouldn't let it all go to waste...

What does everyone think?

As for the OP, the new games could be a springboard for new activity, if done right. Could end up working. And if it doesn't, they're going to be making these damned games until they run out of possible colors/gemstones, so we've got a good century or so to get it right.

Honestly, during college semesters I'm just too busy to do revamps like that. I go to school full time, work part time, run a college club, volunteer, have a ton of pets and aquariums, etc. Things are just kinda crazy XD.

Our biggest issue is lack of advertising. If you guys want more activity, the best way to help out is to advertise like crazy =). And hey, if people come flowing in because of HG/SS, I'm sure Sage and I will be more motivated XD.

Oh so now I can see the text I'm typing, I normally just highlighted it to look for mistakes.

I actually talked with someone at my local Gamestop about HGSS... and then I was told to apply there, which I will be doing.

I guess a revamp would be fine. I'm not going to do it, though. Mostly because I don't have access to the admin CP.

it would be great to see a brighter background...considering the strain the site causes my eyes now...oh and about the whole more gemstones/color games...supposedly theres a 5th gen coming up...need to check my source later

I wouldn't mind a blue or grey layout.

Yup, fifth gen is confirmed, they've already revealed two new Pokemon XD.
