    Goodnight Gravity Empty Goodnight Gravity

Post by Zenith Sun Sep 27, 2009 9:54 pm

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

I wanted to use new HG/SS moves. I also wanted to build a Gravity team. AND THUS, [s]THE POWERPUFF GIRLS WERE BORN[/s] THIS TEAM CAME INTO BEING
    ==============================================

    Goodnight Gravity Jirachi
    Jirachi @ Leftovers ~ Jolly
    Ability: Serene Grace
    EVs: 82 HP / 176 Atk / 252 Spd
    -Gravity
    -Iron Head
    -U-turn
    -Stealth Rock

The main Gravity set up person of the team...very little can one-shot Jirachi, so chances are that it'll get up both Rocks and Gravity before it either dies or U-turns out. Iron Head lets it hax things if need be. Max Speed to outspeed...a lot of stuff. So that it can get Gravity up more easily.

Not much else about it that's particularly notable, it exists almost solely to set up Rocks and Gravity.

    Goodnight Gravity Starmie
Starmie @ Expert Belt ~ Timid
    Ability: LOLILLUMINATE Natural Cure
    EVs: 6 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd
    -Thunder
    -Hydro Pump
    -Blizzard
    -Gravity

Whoo, Gravity abuse! Starmie pretty much kills /everything/ with Gravity up. Dead serious. Expert Belt can trick people into thinking it's Specs'd and I don't like Life Orb damage and thus can run Gravity over Recover. But seriously, man, this thing dishes out large amounts of pain.

    Goodnight Gravity Metagross
Metagross @ Life Orb ~ Adamant
    Ability: Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP / 236 Atk / 20 Spd
    -Gravity
    -Bullet Punch / Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake
    -Explosion

Backup Gravity user. Also ridiculously powerful. Trying to decide between Bullet Punch and MM; MM has 100% accuracy in Gravity, but BP has priority...

Explosion once Gravity is set up and I want to go to someone else like Starmie.

    Goodnight Gravity Heatran
Heatran @ Choice Scarf ~ Naive
    Ability: Flash Fire
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd
    -Explosion
    -Fire Blast
    -Earth Power
    -Dragon Pulse

Heatran's Fie Blasts? They can two-shot Salamence and maybe even Blissey. And with Gravity up, 100% accuracy! Whoo! Earth Power can hit the whole spectrum with Gravity up, which is handy. Dragon Pulse is filler. Explosion is my favorite move ever.

    Goodnight Gravity Shaymin
    Shaymin @ Leftovers ~ Timid
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 32 HP / 224 Spd / 252 Sp.Atk
    -Seed Flare
    -Leech Seed
    -Rest
    -Earth Power

As mentioned above, Earth Power hits everybody here, meaning I don't need to worry about being predicted. Seed Flare ditches its 15% miss rate, making it EXTREMELY AWESOME. Rest + Natural Cure = win. Leech Seed to annoy the crap out of people and force switches.

Mostly, it's on this team because I've wanted to use Shaymin ever since I saw M4GNITUDE's.

    Goodnight Gravity Breloom
Breloom @ Life Orb ~ Adamant
    Ability: Effect Spore. No, seriously.
    EVs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 208 Spd
    -Swords Dance
    -Spore
    -Dymanicpunch
    -Seed Bomb

Effect Spore is funny to use because of the fact that I don't need Poison Heal; it's funny to see people get paralyzed or something when they attack.

Swords Dance because it's unexpected. Spore because it's SPORE. Dymanicpunch becomes viable due to Gravity. Seed Bomb for reliable STAB. Only 208 Spd because that's all it really needs.

    >_>

    Well, this is strange. <_<

I don't know much about Gravity teams....heck, I thought Gravity only got rid of Levitate and Flying type immunity to ground. Lulz.

I do know that you fail at strike tags, though. =D

Ninja, Gravity also lowers the evasion of all Pokemon on the field. Which basically raises the accuracy of moves, making attacks like Blizzard and Fire Blast accurate =).

Well, I figured that after reading the RMT. Lulz.

You think it would say something like that in the Serebii attackdex.... >_>

Don't use Serebii's, try Smogon's. They always have all the little details (and back it up with actual math when needed).
