Requirements to Participate in the Challenge: You must have completed at least five different Johto challenges already (doesn't matter which they were).
Requirements to Complete Challenge: Complete all four challenges below in order. If you fail any of them, you must start over. Mew is banned from this challenge.
Reward: 8000 yen
Penalty: None
Experience Earned: 40 points if the Pokemon battling is set for at least one battle. 20 points for the set Pokemon if it didn't battle.
Pokemon Being Used:
Requirements to Complete Challenge: Defeat Xatu and Slowbro in any order. Xatu must be battled one-on-one. To defeat Slowbro, you must deal 20 damage or more three separate times. You may not use a Fighting or Psychic type.
Attack Details: Xatu will be using a Special Attack that deals 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each stat boost you have a possibility of getting (whether it's through your special attack or ability). Slowbro will be using a Special Attack of 5 that will make it take -5 damage if it rolls a 6.
Pokemon Being Used:
Requirements to Complete Challenge: Defeat both Forretress and Crobat using the same Pokemon.
Attack Details: Forretress will be using a Regular Attack that deals 7 damage. Forretress automatically takes -15 damage from regular attacks because of its ability. Crobat will be using a Special Attack that deals 8 damage and causes it to take -10 damage from special attacks. Crobat's ability allows it to dodge if you roll a 4.
Pokemon Being Used:
Requirements to Complete Challenge: Roll for and defeat Hitmontop without using a Special Attack. You may not use a Rock or Normal type.
Attack Details: Hitmontop will be using a Regular Attack that deals 15 damage and causes it to take -5 damage from regular attacks.
Pokemon Being Used:
Requirements to Complete Challenge: Defeat both Umbreon and Houndoom. You may not use a Dark, Psychic, or Ghost type. Both matches are best out of three. You must use a different Pokemon for each.
Attack Details: Umbreon will be using a Special Attack that causes it to take -30 damage. Its ability says to ignore all attack boosts. Houndoom will be using a Special Attack that deals 25 damage. If Houndoom rolls a 1 or 2, it only deals 10 damage. Houndoom's ability causes it to deal +5 damage if you roll an even number.
