I could probably find another good Trick Room pokemon for this... Major weakness to Ice, I noticed so I started throwing HP Fire in the mix and Flamethrower.

    Clefairy isn't legal in LC.

Only Cleffa is... and it's not too useful.

    Yeah, I don't think so.

    That would be horrible.

I love doubles, and I wouldn't mind a LC Double Battle metagame.

    First thing's first:

Little Cup is a VERY fast Metagame- probably the fastest. Have you ever taken a level five Pokemon into the wild with no EVs and attacked another level five with something like Waterfall? I bet you OHKO'd it, didn't you? That's essentially Little Cup- it's a lot of OHKO's all over the place (save for Sash).

That in mind, there really are no walls in Little Cup. For instance- I ran a few calcs.

A single Adamant Buizel with Waterfall outruns and OHKO's everything on your team. I tested an Adamant Buizel with max investment in Atk against Bronzor and Barboach, and both are easily OHKO'd- and this was before I realized I had forgotten to apply STAB.

I'm sure there are many other Pokemon like the one above which could wreak havoc on your team. Again, Little Cup is LIGHTNING fast, so you want speedy Pokemon, and Choice Scarf is definitely worth investing in, as is Focus Sash, and lots of priority attacks. Tyrogue, Croagunk, Riolu, etc are all relatively popular, from what I see. Then there are staples, like Abra, Gastly, Diglett, etc... I personally love Carvanha.

But yeah, play a few games with this team, and see if you ever get to set up Trick Room... I might be wrong, but the numbers don't lie...

What Shine says is correct, you can't really stall or play defensively in Little Cup. Even the best walls in the game, Bronzor and Munchlax, are easily 2HKO'd by many sweepers.

That being said, Trick Room on it's own is an excellent strategy. Abuse Pokemon like Cranidos. Bronzor can set up Trick Room and explode, making him a great lead.

But yeah, Sandstorm Stall really doesn't work.

I'd imagine Trick Room would only work with a Sash.

Why would you say that? There's a reason I suggested Bronzor to set it up.

I suspect Bronzor would be pretty easy to OHKO without a sash... I mean, like I said, an Adamant Buizel OHKO's a max HP/Def Bronzor with Waterfall and no item with, like, 500% damage plus.

I don't see where you're getting those numbers. I just did the calc myself, assuming max IVs and such (and assuming a scarf for Buizel since that's the only reason you'd be running Adamant).

    Damage: 40.00% - 48.00%

Since Metalkid actually OVER-shoots damage, doing about 46-47% max would be accurate. That's not even a 2HKO. Now, let's say rocks are up and you do MAX damage...it's still not a 2HKO because Bronzor ALWAYS runs Oran Berry.
