You could try Play-Asia, shipping tends to be very cheap and they have no mention of special charges for Hawaii.
That's where I get my Japanese games but they have English copies too.

Two reasons.
1.) I'm impatient.
2.) My Japanese is good enough to have a basic understanding of what's going on anyways.
I started importing games because certain ones that I wanted weren't being released here (Jump Stars, Legend of Stafy, etc.) and then that turned into importing anything I got impatient about :p.

Shipping shouldn't change too much. Typically shipping charges outside of the continental US only increase by a few bucks, for a little video game I'd be shocked if you paid anything more than an extra $1-5 for shipping. It's only when you ship something heavy and fragile that you get beaten down by the extra price.
The only thing you have to worry about is the wait, typically shipping to Alaska and Hawaii takes a bit longer than the mainland states.
