Yup, that's what I'm assuming. I've given up on trying to even tell them apart and just check forums that update a lot...but yes, it's making moderation trickier as I'm not likely to notice new posts right away.

EDIT: wtf, scratch that. Either the shades were changed, or this computer (library) displays differences. At home, you really can't tell o_0.

What browser was this layout designed for, I wonder?

Maybe your PC's screen isn't calibrated, or its brightness is lacking, I don't have any trouble telling apart forum categories with new posts and ones that do not. I can see how low brightness or screen resolution would make it difficult, though.
