As of late, many of the dojos have been inactive. This is our current situation:
Element Dojo
Leader: Tobi
Members: None
Doubles Dojo
Leader: Duncan
Members: Tobi
Little Cup Dojo
Leader: None
Members: Sasami (but I'm currently at Ubers to help out)
Strategy Dojo
Leader: None
Members: Ryu, Ninja
UU Dojo
Leader: Ninja
Members: Mimi, Shine
Ubers Dojo
Leader: Ryu
Members: Sasami (temporary)
I suggest a dojo revamp. Basically, we would kick everyone out of their respective dojos and start over. Since everyone will be able to re-pick, it might encourage more activity.
Everyone, including current dojo owners, will need to re-apply if we do this. However, if you owned a dojo, you will be the first to be considered to take it again.
Remember, too, that even if you're a dojo sensei, you must join a different dojo as a member. What does that mean? EVERYONE participating in the challenge should be a member somewhere.
The form would look something like this:
Name:
Which dojo are you applying for?
Skill level with that particular metagame/style of battling:
Shuten Dojo Tournaments/Projects participated in:
Which dojo are you a member of currently (or plan to join)?
Do you have reliable WiFi access (this is mandatory to be a sensei)?
Members won't need to apply using this form, they may simply ask the dojo sensei to join.
So, what do you guys think? I'm posting this in News, rather than just discussing it with our other staff members, because it's important that you guys all have a say. After all, they're your dojos.
