Possible Evidence of Johto Remakes?

Don't you guys find it interesting that the three Johto starters are going to be featured in the 12th Pokemon movie? There's also a special "Notch-Eared Pichu", which has suggested that the new games will incorporate more gender differences. And when were genders (and Pichu) invented? Johto =).

It would be best not to get our hopes up, but it's certainly interesting...

I think that all fire starts, water, and grass should have a stage 4, and have it be the same one, but in a different form with different stats.

It should be just like the original, only with some extra stuff added (like the Sevii Islands were for FR/LG) and better graphics.

There are several 'hints', but you know... I don't think it'll happen. I mean, remakes are a 'GBA' thing and the GBA is dead.

I mean, granted. I would love to see a G/S remake as they're my favorites of the series.

How are remakes a GBA thing? There have been a TON of other remakes on the DS...Disgaea, Chrono Trigger, FFIV, FFIII, Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Dragon Quest V, etc.

If you mean Pokemon remakes, there has only been one set of those anyways, Fire Red and Leaf Green. There isn't really evidence suggesting that those will be the only ones.

I'm not saying there will definitely be GSC remakes (I'm kinda pessimistic about it, honestly, haha), but saying that remakes are a GBA thing doesn't make sense IMO--the DS has a lot of remakes itself.

Right. Most of those were SNES titles. The GBA was basically a portable SNES when you boiled it down.

$40 for a remade/ported game is high-way robbery. Chrono Trigger's the SAME exact game, only it has a map on the bottom screen and I believe it has a very few minor new features. I think the only one's that may exceptions are the FF remakes as they're making them all '3D'. Even then, I'm iffy on purchasing the same game more than once.

Hey, I'm not saying whether the remakes are worth it or not, I'm just saying that having Pokemon remakes on the DS wouldn't be odd at all.

And when it comes to GSC, it's not like you can just purchase the old carts, as they're mostly dead. I play Crystal on a ROM, but it's not the same as owning it ;_;.

plus they have to have another way to connect G/S/C to all the other games anyways. so far those games are useless... a remake makes sense...unless they want to make a whole new adventure in that region instead. which would be cool
