I don't know, the older types of stories I like more, mainly because it's the original article. Recent depictions of both keeps power leveling them and shit, it totally dilutes their original purposes. Hell, a lot of vampires in modern stories totally omit the slight mind control abilities they possess, which is the only useful ability in being a freakish creature.

If you look into their eyes, you can control what they do.

Yeah I usually like the vampire novels were the vampires have the mind control still... if they are just immortal and blood sucking that is boring....

I was THIS close to setting the place on fire when I got dragged to the movie.

I did like the book, and it was a good book, but the movie was like watching a homeless guy put shards of glass in his own eye for 20 bucks a some cheap wine.

Was it the good kind of putting shards of glass in his eye for twenty bucks (like Megaman 9, which is paying Capcom to kick you in the balls and call you mean things), or the...bad kind?!
