I suddenly feel the need to read and re-read this book over and over again until I'm fluent in Nadsat.
Anyway, this is a wonderful book- a satire- and deserves your attention. If you like to read, pick this up QUICK- the movie does very little justice to the book. It's written by Anthony Burgess, if you're curious.
You'll love the language, if you can pick up on it quickly enough.
Oh, I'll also note that you'll want to pick up the print with the final chapter, which was written out of the original for being too... Controversial. Really, that last chapter wraps the entire story up in a nice, epic little package. The book is indeed worth reading without it, but it loses a lot of value without that last chapter- I'll note that said chapter was also cut out of the movie, and so you can't expect to see it there.
A Clockwork Orange, by Anthony Burgess. Pick it up quick. Viddy?
